Content Management Systems
We recommend using a Content Management System (CMS) on almost every project we work on. The CMS makes it easy to edit and add content to your web site without having to know HTML or CSS coding. The CMS also has a menu system that allows for easy navigation of your site.
There are many Content Management Systems available. For customers with Windows Hosting plans we recommend DotNetNuke. For Linux Hosting we recommend Concrete5.
We'd be happy to give you access to our demo server so you can explore the Administration features of these CMS platforms.
Concrete5 quickly became our favorite development platform. Many of our clients are designers who we work with on their projects. We thought we would share with them and others in the C5 community some of the resources we use when developing with Concrete5.
Flash
Flash applications are a great way to add animations, video and audio to your web site. There are thousands of scripts available for free or at very reasonable prices that can be incorporated into your web site. Some good sources for Flash are flashcomponets.net and activeden.com
Templates
HTML templates are a good way to speed up development of your web project or just get some ideas on the layout and colors you want to use on your site. Price vary on the purchase of templates, some a free or very reasonably priced. We recommend clients browse through template libraries like free-css or Arcsin for design inspiration.

Photos and graphics make a big impact on your web design. We can help you with the best selection to communication your message.
Backgrounds
Background textures can be used for the body of your web site, in boxes, buttons or manipulated in a graphics program for endless design possibilites. There are many site on the Internet to find them, a couple are CyberStyling and GRSites
Javascript / PHP
Javascript and PHP scripts can add an endless array of functions to your website. From pop up window, text effect, E-commerce solutions, Blogs and more. There are many code depositories ike HotScripts and DynamicDrive.
Web Friendly Fonts
Not all fonts are available on everyone's computer. Here's a list of Web Friendly Fonts that are installed on almost every Windows or Mac computer. These are the fonts you should select when designing a web site.
